New Years Eve, 1999, little did I know that I was going to start a new adventure that would last for years to come. I started downtown Edmonton facepainting away for Special Events by 'Tinkles starting to manage the company while attending university for Elementary Education. In 2006. I developed it into Aibrush Facepainting with Chicklit. It's been an adventure for sure with events like two Children's festivals, Expeditions across Canada, Birthday parties, Corporate events, schools, malls and so much fun! I love making logos and getting out of my box with some full body art. I have also worked with such amazing team members through the years and wouldn't be where I am without their help.
March 2017, a new little facepainter was born. Natasha has been teaching her the trades of the business. She loves coming to events to see all of the smiling faces of the little boys and girls. Her destiny is not set in stone, but I like to think it will be following her parents' footsteps. For now, she is just helping putting the smiles on everyone's faces just by her personality and laughter.
What a way to promote Airbrush Facepainting with Chicklit but to write a book and illustrate it with children that are facepainted with my ART! I took all three of my passions and put them together in one book filled with my love. The Yoga Alphabet by Go-Ya! Kids is a book that incorporates kids yoga which I love to teach at a variety of places, the alphabet that I incorporated for the school teacher in me and, you guessed it.... airbrush facepainting! If you would like any information regarding it, please check out www.go-yakids.ca
I also made it into a deck of cards to make it easy to learn the poses and made videos for each letter of the alphabet to make it even easier.
Thanks Natasha, people love what you do. You being there makes the event even better!
“Natasha and her team are fantastic to work with. They are professional and impressively efficient at handling the high volumes of children at our festival. They provide fun stencil options for the kids and have even provided particular stencil images for our event upon our request.”
